Week 1 (ending 6/24)
East Division - Sarah Plizska, Enfield Fireballs (right). Led Fireballs to a 4-3 win over the Enfield Falcons with two hits and 3 RBI.
South Division - Heather Trinks, East Hartford (right). Pitched East Hartford to 2-0 start with wins over Manchester White and South Windsor, allowing only one run.
West Division - Michelle Niejadlik, Suffield. Drove in four of Suffield's seven runs for the week with 2 doubles and a triple in wins over Windsor and Simsbury.
Week 2 (ending 7/1)
East Division - Kacey Oswell, Somers. Led Somers to a win over East Windsor, going 4-5 at the plate and pitching a complete game with 10Ks, and pitching 2 1/3 innings of relief against the Enfield Falcons, allowing 1 hit with 6 strikeouts.
South Division - Dana Carpenter, Vernon. Helped Vernon go 2-0 for the week with a complete game (9Ks) win over East Hartford and 2 innings of no-hit relief in the win over Manchester White.
West Division - Angie Moskwa, Suffield. Pitched Suffield to two wins, allowing a total of six hits and striking out 17, including a perfect game through 6 innings against West Hartford.
Week 3 (ending 7/8)
East Division - Sarah Schulz, Somers. Led Somers to a 6-4 win over the Enfield Fireballs, going 3 for 4 with 2 RBI, including the game winner in extra innings.
South Division - Kristin Gentilcore, Manchester White. Helped Manchester White in the 5-4 win over South Windsor with two key hits, 3 RBI and excellant defensive play.
West Division - Kathleen Conway, Simsbury (right). Pitched Simsbury to an 11-1 win over Windsor with 17 strikeouts and scored three runs on offense.
Week 4 (ending 7/15)
East Division - Bridget Millane, Ellington. Had six hits in Ellington's two wins this week.
South Division - Erin Selavka, Vernon. Pitched Vernon to a 7-1 win over Glastonbury.
West Division - Julie Muscarella, Suffield. Led Suffield to two wins with two homeruns and four RBI.
Week 5 (ending 7/22)
East Division - Kacey Oswell, Somers. Had six hits and pitched well in two games against Ellington.
South Division - Emily Armstrong, South Windsor. Pitched and hit well to lead South Windsor to their first win of the season.
West Division - Lauren Mercik, Suffield. Pitched her second complete game shutout of the season in a win over Simsbury, allowing only two hits and striking out eight.
Week 6 (ending 7/29)
East Division - Kacey Oswell, Somers (right). Led Somers to two wins for the week, over East Windsor allowing only 3 hits with 12 strikeouts and leading the offense with 3 hits, including a 3-run triple. Also helping give Suffield their first loss, pitching a strong game with only eight players and driving in two runs with her second triple of the week.
South Division - Amanda Kennedy, East Hartford. Led the East Hartford offense in two wins for the week.
West Division - Angie Moskwa, Suffield (right). Pitched a no-hitter over Canton with 14 strikeouts.
Week 7 (ending 8/5)
East Division - Amanda Meunier, Enfield Fireballs. Had two triples, a homerun and 4 RBIs in a 14-1 win over East Windsor.
South Division - Dana Carpenter, Vernon. Helped Vernon win two games for the week with solid pitching and hitting.
West Division - Mary Provencher, West Hartford. Helped West Hartford to wins over the Enfield Fireballs, Suffield and Glastonbury with consistent pitching.

Week 1 (ending 6/24)
West Division - Jenna Beverly, Enfield. Pitched a no-hitter and had five hits in the U-14 jamboree.
East Division - Allyson Fournier, South Windsor (right). Pitched a one-hit shutout against Coventry.
Week 2 (ending 7/1)
West Division - Zoe Mendal, West Hartford. Had a homerun, double and 4 RBI in a 22-14 win over Canton and also a strong game at the plate against Suffield.
East Division - Michelle Scanlon, South Windsor (right). For outstanding hitting in the 15-5 win over Tolland and the 14-4 victory against Somers.
Week 3 (ending 7/8)
West Division - Allison Mendola, Windsor. Tripled and scored the deciding run in the 5-4 win over West Hartford and then went 4 for 4 with 2 RBI in the 16-12 win over West Hartford later in the week.
East Division - Allyson Fournier, South Windsor. Pitched South Windsor to an 11-2 win over Vernon, scattering five hits and striking out seven, and went 4 for 4 at the plate.
Week 4 (ending 7/15)
West Division - Kristin Watterlond, Granby. Led Granby's offense in wins over West Hartford and Canton.
East Division - Samantha Urbon, Somers (right). Pitched complete game wins over Vernon and Coventry and recorded ten strikeouts in the loss to Tolland.
Week 5 (ending 7/22)
West Division - Angie Moskwa and Julie Muscarella, Suffield. Angie missed a perfect game by a passed ball third strike and Julie launched two homeruns during the week.
East Division - Erin O'Brien, South Windsor. Had five hits and eight stolen bases for the week and pitched well in the 12-4 win over Vernon.
Week 6 (ending 7/29)
West Division - Katie Jones, Granby (right). Pitched and hit Granby to an 8-3 win over Enfield and a 6-5 decision against West Hartford.
East Division - Anna Cerra, South Windsor. Slugged two homeruns in wins over Tolland and Willington.
Week 7 (ending 8/5)
West Division - Mallory Martucci, West Hartford. Tripled and singled in the 11-2 win over Ellington.
East Division - Mindy Sharon, Tolland. Helped Tolland to wins over Windsor, Coventry and Willington with consistent pitching.
- U-12
Week 1 (ending 6/24)
West Division - Erin Walsh, Granby (right). Had eight strikeouts to lead Granby to a 9-1 win over Windsor.
East Division - Jessica Olson, Tolland. Pitched a one-hit, 13 strikeout shutout against Enfield to open Tolland's season.
Week 2 (ending 7/1)
West Division - Kacey Gifford, Suffield (right). Continued her strong pitching with a 5-3 win against Windsor.
East Division - Samantha Olson, Tolland. Pitched the 11-4 win over Glastonbury and had a double and run scored on offense.
Week 3 (ending 7/8) - No Games Scheduled.
Week 4 (ending 7/15)
West Division - Charlotte Moller and Molly Parker, Windsor. Combined to pitch Windsor past Suffield 6-5 for Windsor's first U-12 win.
East Division - Maggie Kryznel, Willington. Pitched a one-hit (15Ks) 12-0 shutout of Glastonbury and had 3 hits and 2 RBIs in the 13-1 win over Enfield.
Week 5 (ending 7/22)
West Division - Molly Parker, Windsor and Erin Walsh, Granby. Molly earned the 13-0 win against Canton, striking out twelve, and Erin also had 12 strikeouts in Granby's 3-2 win over Suffield.
East Division - Alyssa Valenti, Tolland. Had three hits, including a triple, 2 RBIs and 4 runs scored in wins over Willington and Suffield. She also played great defense behind the plate.
Week 6 (ending 7/29)
West Division - Molly Parker, Windsor (right). Pitched Windsor to a win over West Hartford (7Ks) and hitting a triple on offense and pitched well in relief against Suffield.
East Division - Alyssa Valenti, Tolland. Pitched a win in relief versus Granby and contributed two hits. Also pitched a complete game win over Ellington.

The league's 2007 summer season featured a record 55 players participating in their final year of ASA U-16 eligibility. Our directors and coaches would like to recognize those players and their families and express their gratitude for making the Northern Connecticut Girls' Softball League a continued and growing success.
