South Windsor: Rachel Hamilton, Christine Lemieux, Breeanne Varley, Jenna White.
Enfield1: Alyssa Cannella, Dawn Ezold, Amanda Farnan, Kyleen Klement.
Somers: Tara Butler, Crista Maggio, Mindy Oswell, Melissa Vamvilis.
Enfield2: Barbara Kaplan, Kara Pellin, Katelyn Pellin.

East Team (Coach - Mike Gandini, Vernon)
Vernon: Erin Diette, Mary Gordon, Lisa Riendeau, Amanda Viens.
Ellington: Leanne Golden, Amy Hartman, Tina Pagano, Alyssa Skewes.
Manchester: Ashley Bilodeau, Amy Howroyd, Nicole Sapienza, Katie Viara.

The East Team prevailed by a score of 14-0 (see photos) as Mary Gordon, Alyssa Skewes and Katie Viara kept the potent West offense from getting untracked. Vernon's Erin Diette hit two triples and a double.

Vernon: Shannon Clancy, Lauren Person; Tolland: Rebecca Fuller, Danielle Ostien; Somers: Ashley Mazzoli, Brianne Nyquist; Stafford: Stacey Beebe, Michelle Syphers; Hebron: Amanda Brown, Laura McDonnell; Ellington: Karyn Deptula, Christine Frank.

West Team (Coach - Bob Michaud, Enfield)
Enfield: Amanda Michaud, Stephanie Montville, Annie Tarbox; Simsbury: Kerry Gotowka, Leah Seltzer, Kim Trimble; South Windsor: Jess Oliva, Danielle Spiro; East Windsor: Julie Lech, Erin Stoecker; West Hartford: Julia Cohn, Theo Dworak; Suffield: Deedee Presser, Caitlin Woods.

The teams played 9 innings to an 8-8 tie (see photos). The East pitched Rebecca Fuller, Ashley Mazzoli and Lauren Person against the West's Stephanie Montville, Jess Oliva and Annie Tarbox.

All participants received medallions to commemorate this concluding event of the 2001 NCGSL season.
