West Team (Coach - Joe Cannella, Enfield1)
Enfield1: Alyssa Cannella, Regina Falkowski, Kyleen Klement.
Enfield2: Nicole Delano, Barbara Kaplan.
Simsbury: Jocelyn Dennen, Devan Gotowka, Cassie Hodgson, Becca Raymond.
South Windsor: Jackie King, Jackie O'Brien, Danielle Usiadek, Delanie Usiadek.
Suffield: Taylor Bartini, Katelyn Pellin, Jen Thresher.

East Team (Coach - Lee Oswell, Somers)
Ellington: Margaret Deptula, Leanne Golden, Alyssa Skewes.
Manchester: Amy Pearl, Maica Umali, Shannon Walsh.
Somers: Michelle Milliken, Mindy Oswell, Monica Palmer, Jaclyn Shepard.
Vernon: Danielle Baker, Mary Gordon, Eliza Paterson, Amanda Viens.

The East Team won by a score of 14-2 after an eight-run first inning. Mary Gordon and Alyssa Skewes each worked three innings and held the West batters in check. Jaclyn Shepard's two hits led the East offense. Amanda Viens, Margaret Deptula, Michelle Milliken, and Gordon all had hits. Becca Raymond and Jocelyn Dennen both pitched well for the West Team. Cassie Hodgson had a good game at the plate.

North Team (Coach - Carole Beebe, Stafford)
Bloomfield: Sarah Federico, Jessica Swetcky; Ellington: Karyn Deptula, Ashley Gioia, Erin Stoecker; Simsbury: Kristina Gordon, Karlie Welsh; Somers: Crista Maggio, Mary McKinnon; Stafford: Marcie Boldi, Danielle Lappen; Tolland: Rachel Fain, Samantha Morrow.

South Team (Coach - Tom Dworak, West Hartford)
Bolton: Jenna Anderson, Colleen Murphy; Hebron: Brittany Christensen, Stephanie Smith; South Windsor: Sarah Archambeault, Kathy Marulanda; West Hartford: Theo Dworak, Abby Johnson, Michele Ribeiro; Windsor: Jackie Mendola, Mallory Mitchell; Vernon: Leighann Caron, Melissa Rebai.

The South Team hung on in the ninth inning to win 5-3. After trailing the entire game, the North mounted a serious rally and had the tieing run on base when catcher Michele Ribeiro ended the contest by picking a runner off third base. She and Mallory Mitchell each had a pair of hits. Melissa Rebai's long triple was also a key hit for the winners and Theo Dworak had three assists at third base. Abby Johnson and Mitchell combined to pitch the win. Samantha Morrow's triple and single led the North's hitters. Rachel Fain turned a double play at second base. Jessica Swetcky, Marcie Boldi and Mary McKinnon all pitched well for the North team.

All participants received All-Star medals to commemorate this concluding event of the 2002 NCGSL season.
