Vernon: Sara Carpenter, Alyssa McDonald, Danielle Wemmell and Kassandra Wemmell.

West Division Team (Coaches - Paul Yavis and Tony Valenti, Tolland)
Granby: Kristen Endorf, Katie Jones and Erin Walsh.
Suffield: Samantha Guzzi, Alyssa Wagner and Kim Willett.
Tolland: Alex D'Aloisio, Kim Tanguay, Alyssa Valenti and Alyssa Yavis.
Willington: Maggie Kryznel, Morgan Stewart, Alyssa Varrieur and Taylor Vonacek.

The U-12 East All-Stars rallied for four runs with two out in the last inning but fell just short as the West squad hung on for a 7-6 win. Cari Conley's 2-run single and Cori DeLorge's 2-run double were the key hits. Sara Carpenter and Cari Conley shared pitching duties for the East. Alex D'Aloisio and Kristen Endorf led the West team with two hits each. Alyssa Wagner and Alyssa Valenti both had 2-run singles. Katie Jones, Alyssa Valenti, Samantha Guzzi and Alyssa Yavis all pitched well for the West.

East Division Team (Coaches - Bill Selavka, Vernon and Mark Gentilcore, Manchester)
Coventry: Lindsay LaChance and Brittney Pietro.
Ellington: Taylor Brown and Morgan McPartland.
Hebron: Emily Hummel and Alicia Wojcik.
Manchester: Kelly Gentilcore and Allie Vitkus.
Somers: JoJo Meunier and Camille Thomas.
South Windsor: Ariel Hovland and Stephanie Rahm.
Vernon: Briana Levick, Erin Selavka and Jamie Vallarelli.

West Division Team (Coaches - Joe Cannella and Lance Miles, Enfield.)
Canton: Deanna DeSanti and Jessica Schroeder.
Enfield: Lindsey DeFord and Natalie Kyparidis.
Glastonbury: Jackie Barnicle and Amanda Longley.
Granby: Desiree Piette and Kristin Watterlond.
Suffield: Julie Muscarella and Lauren Mercik.
West Hartford I: Valerie Beyer and Lily Hannigan.
Windsor: Shauna Greene and Nina Varney.

The East Division team scored four runs in the first inning and two in the second and downed their West Division counterparts by a score of 10-4. Kelly Gentilcore, Erin Selavka and Taylor Brown had two hits apiece. Gentilcore, Emily Hummel and Stephanie Rahm drove in two runs each. Hummel, Gentilcore, Selavka, JoJo Meunier and Morgan McPartland pitched an inning each and combined for nine strikeouts. Natalie Kyparidis had two hits and drove in three of the West's runs. Lindsey DeFord, Jess Schroeder and Lily Hannigan also had hits. Nina Varney, Lauren Mercik, Lindsey DeFord and Amanda Longley shared the pitching for the West.

East Windsor: Heather St.Amour and Ginger Starvish.
Enfield: Tori Benoit and Jordan Duggan.
Granby: Courtney McGuire and Kim Winalski.
Simsbury: Abbey Williams and Danielle Work.
Somers: Kacey Oswell and Monica Palmer.
Suffield Pink: Samantha Cieri and Emily Droney.
Suffield Rebels: Kelly Kenney.

South Division Team (Coach - Larry Lambert, West Hartford)
East Hartford: Heather Trinks.
Manchester: Kristin Gentilcore and Amanda Landry.
South Windsor: Emily Armstrong and Marianne Specker.
Tolland: Devin Feeney and Marisa Husereau.
Vernon: Dana Carpenter and Jocelyn White.
West Hartford: Alicia Lambert and Lauren Towers.
Windsor: Jessica Bilotta and Kimberly Marris.


With the score 1-0 after four innings, the North pushed across three runs in the fifth inning to notch a 4-0 win over the South Division in the rain-shortened U-16 nightcap. Consecutive RBI hits by Monica Palmer, Emily Droney (double) and Heather St.Amour gave the North the cushion it needed. Abbey Williams added two hits and a run scored. Kacey Oswell, Sam Cieri and Heather St.Amour combined for the shutout, striking out six South batters and allowing just three hits. Dana Carpenter, Emily Armstrong, Alicia Lambert and Heather Trinks all pitched well for the South team, recording eight strikeouts. Kim Marris, Jocelyn White and Devin Feeney had the South hits.

All participating players received All-Star medals to commemorate this concluding event of the 2006 NCGSL season.
