Enfield at Manchester - rescheduled to Monday, June 29th.

- Wednesday, June 17th
WindsorI 8, Suffield 7. WindsorI opened their season with an 8-7 decision over visiting Suffield, in a well played game by both teams. Macy Fenlason and Olivia Biagioni had two hits each for the winners. Marissa Webb had a long double for Suffield.
Granby 11, Canton 2. Granby defeated Canton 11-2 on one of the few days in June that it didn't rain. It was a close game until the 4th inning when Granby broke it open, scoring five runs. Samantha Gilbert pitched well and hammered a two-run double. Sarah Boardman played well defensively for Granby, including a spectacular foul ball catch. Morgan Scafuri knocked in one run for Canton on a triple and Gabby Rose drove in the other Canton run with a solid hit to left field.
Enfield 18, Coventry 2. Lisa Lusardi and Casi Delorge combined on a no-hitter as Enfield downed Coventry. Kenzie Vermette banged out three hits and scored three runs to lead the Fireball offense. Taylor Maier and Lisa Lusardi had two hits apiece. Samantha Roy and Courtney Hill played well for Coventry.
Glastonbury at West Hartford - rescheduled to Tuesday, July 21st.
South Windsor at WindsorII - rescheduled to Thursday, July 2nd.

Canton 13, Coventry 5. Canton defeated Coventry 13-5 behind solid pitching from Morgan Scafuri, who struck out nine, and a strong offensive performance, led by the hitting of Katie Hill. Hannah Vignone went the distance for Coventry and pitched well in defeat. Courtney Hill also played well for Coventry.
Manchester 4, West Hartford 1.
Enfield 8, Glastonbury 3. The Enfield Fireballs squad scored five runs in the 1st inning and played Glastonbury even the rest of the way enroute to an 8-3 win. Lisa Lusardi pitched a complete game two-hitter for Enfield and struck out 14 batters. Tina Leonardo and Casi DeLorge paced the Enfield offense. Emily Bengtson and Brittany Uricchio played well for Glastonbury.
West Hartford 9, Coventry 1.

- Monday, June 22nd
Coventry 11, Canton 11 (tie)(4 innings). In a tie game called because of darkness, Kelly Lindlau made two run-saving defensive plays for Coventry. Ashley King caught a line drive for the final out with the go ahead run at third base. Annalee Barrette caught a nice game for Coventry.

- Tuesday, June 23rd
Suffield 8, Glastonbury 6. (from 6/22) Suffield scored six runs in the first two innings and was able to hold off Glastonbury 8-6 at Glastonbury High. The Suffield offense was led by Marissa Webb, who was 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored and Rebecca Masi, who reached base safely in all three of her atbats and scored a run. Seven Suffield players scored runs. Taylor McDowell pitched a good game for Glastonbury, going all six innings. She was aided by a spectacular catch in left field by Katie Barnicle, robbing Clarissa Burke of a double. The Glastonbury offense was led by Abby Williams, who had a big single, knocking in two runs. Laura Somerville pitched a strong game for Suffield. Katie Carson pitched well in the last three innings to close out the game.
- Wednesday, June 24th
South Windsor 6, Glastonbury 3. Amy Orsini struck out five and pitched a complete game for the South Windsor win on her birthday. Rachel Chernik had an outstanding catch in centerfield to lead the SW defense. South's offense was paced by Miread Kelly's long double and Lina Nguyen, who reached base twice and scored two runs. Lauren Crouse had two hits and Saunder Barnicle had a double to lead the Glastonbury offense. Taylor McDowell pitched well, striking out six.
Manchester 11, Suffield 7. Manchester defeated Suffield 11-7, led by Bella Colletti (2-2, 3 runs), Mackenzie Sisson (2-2, 2 runs) and Chelsey Tinson (1-1, 2 runs). Suffield was led by Katie Carson and Nicole Wagner with two hits apiece and Allie Carson, reaching base three times.
WindsorI 3, Enfield 2. In another well-played game, WindsorI improved to 4-0, edging Enfield by a score of 3-2. Emily Parker and Macy Fenlason combined on a two-hitter for Windsor. Alize Aguilar's base hit and aggressive baserunning scored the deciding run. Lisa Lusardi pitched a 3-hitter in a losing effort. Amber Spazzarini and Alyssa Karat were also standouts for Enfield.
Coventry 12, WindsorII 4. Coventry defeated WindsorII by a score of 12-4. Meagan Leavens had an RBI and a run scored and pitched a 1-2-3 6th inning to close out WindsorII. Taylor Armstrong scored two runs and Alison Akerley led a strong defensive effort for Coventry. Lucia Barresi and Renate Tomkiel pitched well and Sarah Gegetskas provided a big hit for Windsor.
West Hartford 4, Granby 3. West Hartford edged Granby 4-3. Lizzie Lagoy started for West Hartford and pitched two great innings. McKenzie Pellitier had a good game catching and Crista Wolski played fantastic in centerfield. Granby's pitcher pitched five innings of a great ball game.
- Monday, June 29th
Manchester 18, Enfield 6. (from 6/15) Manchester downed Enfield behind the offense of Cam Dias (4 RBI), Nicole Malloy (3 RBI) and Shannon Hill & Alissa Marsh, each with a run batted in. Stephanie Hurlburt was a defensive standout for the winners. Enfield received strong play from Katie Saltzgiver, Alyssa Karat and Taylor Maier, who made a spectacular catch in centerfield.
WindsorI 13, Glastonbury 1. (from 7/8) Windsor was led by Macy Fenlason, Emily Parker and Kasey Shemanskis, each with two hits. Lauren Crouse had a double and Saunder Barnicle played well defensively for Glastonbury.
West Hartford 20, WindsorII 6. (from 7/8) West Hartford won over WindsorII by a score of 20-6. For WindsorII, Madi Lee played well in the infield and had two singles. Alex Connors caught well and played as a good backup in centerfield. Madiera Alexander played well as catcher and hade a great bunt. West Hartford's relief pitchers Alix Royce and Colleen Goroshko helped out tremendously. Ermani Cruz brought life to the infield as shortstop and Rory Morgan lit up the field with two doubles and two RBIs as well as good defensive play at first base.

WindsorI 14, WindsorII 7. (from 6/15) WindsorI used five different pitchers to defeat WindsorII. Madison Lee, Renate Tomkiel and Allie Cigal played well for WindsorII. Alisha Collazo and Gillian Flynn led WindsorI with two hits each.
- Monday, July 6th
WindsorI 21, Coventry 0. Emily Parker, Macy Fenlason and Drew Martin combined for a no-hitter. Kira Demitrus had three hits for WindsorI. Kristina Bilyeu, Hannah Vignone and Megan Leavens played well for Coventry.
Granby 7, Suffield 4. Granby beat Suffield 7-4 behind four solid innings of pitching by Jaimee Kidd. Jen Szilagyi pitched the last two innings to earn the save. Samantha "Pumba" Gilbert hit a solid double to deep left. Laura Somerville pitched well for Suffield and Marisa Webb hit a shot to center for an RBI-triple.
Manchester 9, South Windsor 4. Manchester was led with RBIs from Chelsey Tinson and Alissa Marsh. Shannon Hill (twice on base) and Isabella Colletti (three times) scored a total of four runs. South Windsor was led offensively by Rachel Chernik and Alana Ferrante. Lina Nguyen pitched four innings, striking out eight.
West Hartford 11, Enfield 10. In a hard fought game, West Hartford was successful over Enfield 11-10. For West Hartford, Alix Royce got the team in motion at bat with a double to clear the bases early in the game. Relief pitcher Elena Pevar closed out the game and shut Enfield out in the bottom of the sixth. Emani Cruz caught the game-winning popup to send West Hartford home with the victory. For Enfield, McKenzie Vermette hit a based-loaded double to tie the game in the bottom of the 5th, and Kristin Serafin pitched a good game.

Granby 9, Glastonbury 8. (from 6/15) In a very exciting game, Granby edged Glastonbury 9-8. In the second inning, Glastonbury took the lead 5-2. Granby chipped away at the lead before tieing the game in the fourth. From there the teams continued to go back and forth until the seventh. Glastonbury took the lead in the top of the 7th when Abby Williams stole home. In the bottom of the inning, Caylin Viets walked and scored on a heads-up baserunning play to retie the game. Granby then loaded the bases and Jaimee Kidd, who had three hits in the game, drove in the winning run. Samantha "Pumba" Gilbert pitched well for Granby, striking out sixteen. Gabbi Stahl went 4 for 4 and led Granby offensively. Taylor Macdowell pitched the complete game for Glastonbury, striking out eight, and went 3 for 3 at the plate. Brooke Gondek had a single and a double for Glastonbury as well.
Coventry at South Windsor - rescheduled to Tuesday, July 21st.
- Sunday, July 12th
Granby 17, WindsorII 0. Granby defeated WindsorII 17-0. They were led offensively by Amanda Jacobs (4 for 4, 5 RBIs), Jaimee Kidd (3 for 4, 3 RBIs) and Samantha Gilbert (2 for 4, 4 RBIs). Jen Szilagyi, Gilbert and Kidd all pitched very well, combining for a no-hit shutout. Windsor played some outstanding defense, including an amazing leaping catch in left field by Madeira Alexander and a great stab by shortstop Madison Lee. Also, Alexandria Connor pitched well for Windsor.
- Monday, July 13th
Manchester 20, Coventry 5. (from 7/8) Cam Dias, Bella Colletti and Sara Karr combined for a no-hitter to lead Manchester over Coventry. Offensively, Kristen DeCiantis, Stephanie Hurlburt, Nicole Malloy and Cam Dias drove in runs. Coventry displayed good resiliancy and had good pitching by Megan Leavens.
Suffield 16, WindsorII 11. Suffield beat WindsorII in a hard fought battle 16-11. The Suffield offense was a balanced attack led by Katie Carson and Marissa Webb, who reached base in all three of their at bats. Allie Carson, Erin McGann, Nicole Wagner and Lauren Somerville each reached base twice and scored two runs. Katelyn Corr was steady behind the plate and also scored two runs. Katie was the winning pitcher and Marissa pitched a strong three innings of relief. Windsor's Amanda Dillon collected an RBI-single in the first inning. Jordan Tyburski reached base twice and scored two runs. Emily Kopacz delivered a 2-RBI single in the sixth inning.
WindsorI 14, West Hartford 1.

Glastonbury 23, Coventry 7. Glastonbury found its first win of the season with a convincing 23-7 victory over Coventry. Taylor Macdowell went the distance, striking out ten batters. She also contributed offensively with a triple, single and 3 runs scored. The Glastonbury offensive attack was led by Alyssa Foster (single, double), Hanna Talley (2 singles), Brittany Uricchio (single, 3 runs scored) and Alexa Morin (single, 3 runs scored). For Coventry, Megan Leavens (single, 2 runs scored) led the offense while Sam LaFountain and Ashley King played well on defense.
Manchester 16, WindsorII 1. Manchester pitchers threw a two-hitter, led by the trio of Cam Dias, Kristen DeCiantis and Sara Karr. Offensively, Manchester was led with RBIs by Chelsey Tinson (3), MacKenzie Sisson (2), Kaitlin Maloney, Nikki Pirtel and Shannon Hill. WindsorII had good pitching by Lucia Barresi, great catching and 1B play by Amanda Dillon and a solid hit by Sam Visone.
WindsorI 3, South Windsor 0. Emily Parker and Macy Fenlason combined for a one-hit shutout. Alisha Collazo drove in two runs with a double for Windsor. For South Windsor, Amy Orsini pitched well, with 10 strikeouts, and Marissa Peruccio and Miread Kelly were defensive standouts.
Suffield 11, West Hartford 5. Abbey Schoner led the offense in Suffield's 11-5 victory over West Hartford. Abbey was 3 for 3 with 4 RBIs and had a big 2-out single that knocked in the go-ahead run in the 3rd inning. Maggie Ellithorpe's 2-out single drove in Suffield's first two runs. Mariah Peck also drove in two runs with a 4th inning double. Laura Somerville piched a complete game for Suffield. Julia Delutrie hit well for West Hartford, driving in their first run with a 1st inning single. Jamie Lohneiss did a good job defensively behind the plate and at first base.

Enfield 12, Glastonbury 6. (from 7/13) Enfield hung on for a 12-6 win against a feisty Glastonbury team. Lisa Lusardi pitched a solid game for Enfield, striking out nine batters. Taylor Maier and Kenzie Vermette led Enfield's hitting attack with two singles apiece. Glastonbury cut an early Enfield lead to 6-4 in the 4th inning behind good pitching by Taylor Macdowell and the hitting of Mandy Gray.
South Windsor 7, Canton 0. (forfeit)(from 7/8)
- Friday, July 17th
Manchester 5, Granby 2. In a well pitched game with some very good defense by both teams, Kristen DeCiantis pitched six strong innings for Manchester, striking out six. Jen Szilagyi pitched three strong innings for Granby, also striking out six. Manchester was led offensively with RBIs from Sara Carr, Nikki Pirtel and Nicole Malloy. Granby's offense was led by Samantha Groskritz (2 hits), Samantha "Pumba" Gilbert (RBI) and Jaimee Kidd (RBI). Manchester's defense was led by Ashley Feshler, Nicole Malloy and Cam Dias. Granby catcher Sam Groskritz had a great game, keeping Manchester's running game to a minimum.
Suffield 9, Coventry 6. Suffield beat Coventry 9-6, aided by all-around strong defense led by Maggie Ellithorpe, who tracked a ball down in centerfield, preventing a double and saving a run. Erin McGann and Nicole Wagner drove in two runs apiece and Clarissa Burke reached base safely three times and played a fine game at second base. Katie Carson pitched five innings and was the winning pitcher. Coventry's Megan Leavens gave a gritty performance pitching, supported by a good game by Annalee Barrett behind the plate. Kelley Lindlau made several solid defensive plays at third base, getting big outs in big spots to keep Coventry close.
West Hartford 7, Canton 0. (forfeit)

South Windsor at Enfield - postponed by rain to a later date.
- Saturday, July 18th
(from 7/1) South Windsor downed West Hartford 9-5 as Lina Nguyen struck out seven and went the distance to earn the win. South's offense was led by Rachel Chernik, Rebecca Schroder and Marissa Peruccio, each with two runs scored. For West Hartford, Alyssa Murray hit a solid double and played well on defense. Sabrina Carreira hit well and played great in the field after returning from an injury.
South Windsor 9, West Hartford 5.
- Sunday, July 19th
Glastonbury 15, WindsorII 4. (from 7/17) Glastonbury beat WindsorII 15-4 under the lights at Windsor. Taylor Macdowell went the distance, pitching a 2-hitter and striking out six batters. She also contributed on offense with two hits. Glastonbury scored four runs in the 2nd inning on a walk to Lauren Crouse, who stole second and third, and then scored on a hit by Brittany Uricchio. Emily Bengtson knocked in Uricchio and then later scored on a solid single by Maddy Gray. Uricchio (3 hits), Gray (2 hits) and Becca Hadfield (2 hits, 2 runs scored) led the Glastonbury offense. WindsorII was led by Sam Visone, who made a terrific catch in left field, robbing an extra base hit in the 6th inning. Lucia Barresi pitched four innings and played solid defense at shortstop. Jordan Tyburski also played well defensively for Windsor.
- Monday, July 20th
Manchester 12, Glastonbury 2. This game was well pitched by both teams and was tied through three innings. For Manchester, Cam Dias pitched six solid innings, scattering 4 hits and striking out ten. Taylor Macdowell also pitched six solid innings for Glastonbury, allowing seven hits and striking out five. Kristen DiCiantis and Dias each drove in two runs and Bella Colletti had one RBI. Lauren Crouse had a hit and an RBI for Glastonbury. Alyssa Foster and Emily Bengtson each had a hit. On defense, Sara DiCenso made a spectacular play at shortstop.
South Windsor 8, Granby 7. South Windsor won behind the pitching effort of Amy Orsini. Emi Marchesseault had two hits and Marissa Peruccio scored three times to lead the South offense. Granby's offense was led by Sara Gilbert (3-RBI double), Jaimee Kidd (2 hits, RBI) and Amanda Jacobs (2 hits, RBI). caught well for Granby.Gabbi Stahl
West Hartford 10, Coventry 3. West Hartford was successful over Coventry 10-3. Gabby Collins pitched a great game to earn the win. Alyssa Murray played well both offensively and defensively for the team, and Sabrina Carreira had a good game at the plate, hitting a defining double in the bottom of the 5th inning to secure the win. Hannah Vignone pitched well for Coventry. Sam LaBlond had a good game defensively and Ashley King had a nice RBI-single.
Suffield 9, Enfield 3. Katelyn Corr reached base safely in all three of her at bats and scored three runs as Suffield defeated Enfield 9-3. Laura Somerville had two RBI and Marissa Webb had a 2-out, 2-RBI triple in the 4th inning. Lisa Lusardi and Katie Saltzgiver played well for Enfield.

- Wednesday, July 22nd
Enfield 22, WindsorII 6. Enfield's bats came to life as they banged out 15 hits in a 22-6 win over WindsorII. Lisa Lusardi pitched a clean three innings for Enfield, yielding no runs and striking out six batters. Taylor Maier led the way for Enfield, connecting for three hits, and Fallon Sweeney & Katie Saltzgiver knocked out two hits apiece. For WindsorII, Sam Dehais contributed two hits and Allie Cigal played well and contributed a hit of her own.
WindsorI 7, Granby 5. WindsorI squeeked by a very, very tough Granby team by a score of 7-5. Kasey Shemanskis went 3 for 3 and Kacey Rendock and Alisha Collazo had key hits for Windsor. For Granby, Amanda Jacobs went 2 for 2, Samantha Gilbert had a double and Caylin Viets knocked in two runs.
West Hartford 2, Manchester 1. West Hartford ended the regular season with a 2-1 win over Manchester. Elena Pevar pitched a one-hit game West Hartford, leading her team to the victory. Lizzy Lagoy drove in the first run and stole her way home to put West Hartford ahead. Bella Colletti caught well and Cam Dias pitched a great game for Manchester.
South Windsor 5, Suffield 0. Madison Silverman pitched a complete game shutout and hit a double in the South Windsor win. Also contributing to the South offense were Lina Nguyen (2 runs) and Alana Ferrante, who reached base three times. Amanda Shea and Miread Kelly were defensive standouts. Laura Somerville pitched well for Suffield, striking out 11 of the 12 batters she faced. Allie Carson and Rebecca Masi also played well.
Glastonbury 7, Canton 0. (forfeit)
- Thursday, July 23rd
Granby 12, Canton 5. (from 7/13) Another rain soaked crowd watched Granby defeat Coventry 12-5 to conclude the U-12 regular season. The game was called after 4 1/2 innings due to the rain. Jaimee Kidd (2 for 2, 3 RBIs), Jen Szilagyi (2 for 3, 2 RBIs), Casey Gajewski and Shelby Smith led Granby offensively. Sarah Boardman doubled a runner off third base after she snagged a lined shot hit by Megan Leavens. Coventry was led defensively by pitcher Leavens and Hannah Vignone. Courtney Hill smacked an RBI-single into right center for Coventry.
South Windsor at WindsorII (from 7/2) - cancelled due to rain.
