- Monday, June 19th
Granby 8, Suffield 5. Granby opened with an 8-5 win at Suffield. Erin Walsh was the winning pitcher, recording eight strikeouts. Kristen Endorf was 2 for 2 at the plate. Renee Lareau was also 2 for 2 at the plate and made an amazing catch in left field in the third inning.
Enfield 10, Willington 9. Enfield edged Willington 10-9 with Jen Beverly the winning pitcher. She struck out thirteen. Cari Conley had a single, double and triple to lead the Enfield hitters. Maggie Kryznel struck out 15 Enfield batters for Willington. Taylor Vonacek went 2 for 2 at the plate.
Tolland 5, Vernon 5. Tolland and Vernon opened the season with a tie game at Vernon as Alex D'Aloisio (right) pitched five strong innings, striking out nine and giving up five runs. Alyssa Valenti and Jessica Olson both went 2 for 2 with 3 runs scored between them and an RBI for Tolland. Michelle Correia had three runs scored for Vernon and Courtney Oliva struck out eight and gave up five runs in five innings.
West Hartford1 at West Hartford2 - rescheduled to Wednesday, July 5th.
- Wednesday, June 21st
West Hartford1 16, Granby 6. West Hartford defeated a gritty Granby team in a game decided by one big inning. Christina Corey and Julia Levere shared the pitching. Dani Stevens led the offense and also played great in the field. Becky Olson had a good game at shortstop and had a nice base hit to centerfield. For Granby, Amy Bilodeau did a great job pitching as did Erin Walsh. Erin also went 3 for 3 at the plate. Megan Nilson was 2 for 2 at the plate.
Willington 19, West Hartford2 8. Colleen Ecsedy pitched four strong innings to get the win with Morgan Stewart closing out the game in relief. Maggie Kryznel had a double and scored three runs. Taylor Vonasek also had a double and scored two runs. Morgan Ridzon and Alyssa Varrieur each had two hits. The West Hartford hitters were led by Emily Ardel (two doubles) and Caroline Karanian (two singles).
Enfield 11, Tolland 4. Jenna Beverly picked up her second win, striking out twelve, as Enfield downed Tolland. Kaitlyn Krogmann had a triple and 4 RBIs and Cari Conley went 2 for 3 with a triple. Alyssa Valenti struck out three for Tolland, and also went 1 for 2 with a run scored. Jess Olson also pitched, striking out six, and went 1 for 1 on offense.

Willington 15, Tolland 5. Willington bested Tolland as Maggie Kryznel (7Ks) and Colleen Ecsedy (2Ks) combined on a one-hitter. Sara Rup had two hits and scored 3 runs and Taylor Vonasek and Morgan Ridzon each scored two runs. Alyssa Yavis started for Tolland and pitched three innings. Alex D'Aloisio, who pitched two innings in relief, had the lone hit and scored a run. Brittany DeCarli played a great game behind the plate.
West Hartford1 at Vernon - rescheduled to Tuesday, July 25th.

Willington 16, Suffield 4. Willington won their third straight game as Morgan Stewart went the distance to get the decision. She gave up just two hits and struck out four. Maggie Kryznel led the hitters with a double, single and 3 runs scored. Tracey Aforismo also had two base hits. Kim Willett had one of the Suffield hits and reached base twice. Emma Kubetin had a nice defensinve catch and Allie Carson played very well defensively.
Vernon at Enfield (EWS) - rescheduled to Tuesday, July 18th.
Tolland at West Hartford1 - rescheduled to Thursday, July 27th.
Granby at West Hartford2 - rescheduled to Thursday, July 20th.
- Friday, June 30th
Enfield 18, West Hartford1 8. The Enfield Fireballs improved to 3-0 with an 18-8 decision over West Hartford1. Cari Conley and Jen Beverly combined to pitch the win. Katie Krogmann went 3 for 3 with a double and Valeigh Kaufman and Lisa Lusardi scored three runs each. Jackie Scalise drove in two runs for West Hartford. Ali Stevens pitched well and Jackie Murray made a great catch in centerfield.
Vernon 21, West Hartford2 9. Vernon downed West Hartford2 as Kaitlyn Lajoie, Courtney Oliva, Laura Skoly and Dee Cashman all did well in sharing the pitching duties. Chrissy Pettengil also had a strong game behind the plate.

- Wednesday, July 5th
West Hartford1 7, West Hartford2 7 (tie). (from 6/19)The two West Hartford teams played to a draw in a defensively well-played game. Both teams made several good plays that resulted in a low scoring tie game. For the West Hartford Thunder (team 1), Sara Rose Slate pitched great, Dani Stevens picked a runner off third at the catching position with a tremendous decoy to second and bullet throw to Sydney Hamilton, who applied the sweep tag. Tina Galindez flashed the leather in the field with a drop step catch of a popup headed to no-woman's land in right field. For the West Hartford Devils (team 2), Courtney Daley pitched three good innings, ringing up five strikeouts. She also contributed with her bat, going 2 for 3 with two stolen bases and an RBI. Defensively, she tagged out two runners at the plate. Caroline Karanian continues to impress at the plate with a 3 for 3 night, a run, 3 RBIs and three stolen bases. Caroline also played flawlessly at shortstop, making several nice plays. Jennifer Lohneiss continues to play exceptionally at catcher. She threw out two runners attempting to steal third and caught a fouled third strike. She went 2 for 3 in the leadoff position, scoring two runs and stealing two bases. Amy Silbo showed great patience at the plate with three walks, coming around to score twice, while stealing three bases.
- Friday, July 7th
Tolland 19, West Hartford2 15. (from 6/23) Tolland got their first win of the season with a hard fought 19-15 win over West Hartford2. Alyssa Valenti and Jessica Olson shared the pitching assignment for Tolland. Tolland managed nine hits with Jessica Olson and Alyssa Yavis leading the way with two hits each and three runs scored. Alex D'Aloisio went 1 for 1 with 3 walks and four runs scored. Courtney Daley pitched three solid innings for West Hartford, striking out three. Gladys Torres went 2 for 3 with 3 runs scored and Brianne Callan went 1 for 2 with a walk and 3 runs scored.
- Monday, July 10th
West Hartford1 18, Suffield 7. West Hartford2 beat Suffield by a score of 18-7. Sarah Rose Slate pitched a great game and Ali Stevens, Caroline Bye and Alyssa Mantello each scored three times. Sydney Hamilton chipped in a double for the West Hartford team. For Suffield, Sam Guzzi kept her team in the game with great relief pitching with Lauren Gifford calling the game behind the plate and making many outstanding defensive plays. Sabrina Guzzi was the hitting star for Suffield.
Tolland 12, Granby 6. Tolland got their second straight win with a 12-6 decision over Granby. Alex D'Aloisio pitched a complete game and had 12 strikeouts. Brittany DeCarli went 3 for 3 with a double and 3 runs scored. Jessica Olson went 2 for 3 with a double, walk and two runs scored. Amy Bilodeau and Katie Jones pitched for Granby, combining for 10 strikeouts. Brittany Schultz played a solid game behind the plate and made a tough play on a popup to end the 6th inning.
Enfield 27 at West Hartford2 2. The Enfield Fireballs remained unbeaten and improved their record to 4-0 with a 27-2 victory over West Hartford2. For the Fireballs, it was the combined pitching efforts of Jenna Beverly and Cari Conley, throwing a no-hitter with 9 strikeouts. Katie Krogmann went 4 for 4 with 6 RBIs. Rebecca Scanlon and Jenna Beverly both hit doubles. For West Hartford2, Caroline Karanian had a good game on defense and Emily Ardel reached base twice.
Willington 7. Vernon 0 (forfeit).
- Wednesday, July 12th
West Hartford1 14, West Hartford2 4. Town rivals West Hartford1 (Thunder) and West Hartford2 (Devils) played a hard-nosed summer league game a Sterling Field with The Thunder prevailing 14-4. For the Thunder, Alyssa Mantello, Molly Pitegoff, Rosie Gluck and Caroline Bye starred at the plate and in the field. Molly, Alyssa and Caroline all had hits to the outfield and Rosie was stellar behind the plate. For the Devils, Caroline Karanian continued her all around good play, pitching in with a single, RBI and two runs scored while flashing some good leather at shortstop. Jennifer Lohneiss continues to impress with her hard-nosed play behind the plate, making a great catch off a tipped third strike. Cassidy Grinsell had her best game with a frozen rope single, scoring a run and making several nice plays in the field. Emily Ardel and Gladys Torres both contributed with hits and RBIs. Brianne Callan pitched well, ringing up four strikeouts.

- Thursday, July 13th
Willington 25, West Hartford1 6. (from 6/23) Maggie Kryznel, Morgan Stewart and Alexa Manaskie combined to pitch the win. Katrina Mahoney went 3 for 3 with a double and two singles, Megan Lord had a double and scored three runs, Sarah Rup had two singles and Emma Perugini had two singles and scored three runs. Ali Stevens pitched a good game for West Hartford. Dani Stevens was 3 for 3 with a double and two singles and Sarah Rose Slate had a pair of singles.
- Friday, July 14th
Granby 11, West Hartford1 8. Katie Jones pitched five strong innings , striking out 11 batters, to lead Granby past West Hartford1. She also went 3 for 4 at the plate. Erin Walsh came in to finish off the last two innings, striking out the side in the bottom of the seventh to end the game. Brittany Schultz was 2 for 3 at the plate as well. West Hartford1's starting pitcher was Julie Levere. Sara Rose Slate came in to pitch the final three innings. Dani Stevens had a good defensive game as well as at the plate.
Enfield 6, Tolland 4. In a good defensive game played by both sides, the Enfield Fireballs defeated Tolland 6-4 to remain unbeaten and improved their record to 5-0. There were many good plays made on both sides. For Tolland, Katie Akerley had a double, Alyssa Yavis pitched a nice game and Kim Tanguay had a base hit and also threw out two baserunners from behind the plate. Cari Conley (right) pitched a good game for the Fireballs, allowing only one run in five innings and striking out eight. Samantha DelConte made a nice catch on defense and Rebecca Scanlon also made a nice catch on the edge of the outfield grass. Nicole Meunier doubled and Cori DeLorge reached base three times to lead the Enfield hitters.
Willington 6, West Hartford2 4. Willington improved to 6-1 as Colleen Ecsedy, Alexa Manaskie and Maggie Kryznel combined for the win. Sarah Rup had two singles and scored two runs. Maggie Kryznel had a pair of hits and scored three times and Tracey Aforismo had a single and a run scored. Courtney Daley (7Ks) and Emily Grace (3Ks) both pitched well for WH2. Val Hackett had four stolen bases and scored twice and Amanda Place played great defense.
Vernon 24, Suffield 11.
- Saturday, July 15th
Willington 13, Enfield 9. (from 7/12) Willington nudged Enfield out of first place with a tough 13-9 win on the road. Alexa Manaskie pitched the first three innings, striking out five, and Maggie Kryznel pitched the last four innings, ringing up 10 Enfield batters. Morgan Stewart had a single and scored two runs and Sarah Rup singled and scored. Erica Tremko, Emma Perugini and Morgan Ridzon each scored two runs. Katie Krogmann had a double and an RBI for Enfield. Jenna Beverly and Katie Sirois each scored a pair of runs.
Enfield 13, Suffield 9. (from 6/23) In the second game of a doubleheader at Whit Acres, Enfield downed Suffield 13-9. Cari Conley got the win in relief, striking out eight, after starter Jenna Beverly was injured while running to first base. There were doubles by Cori DeLorge and Katie Krogmann and Jenna Beverly added two singles. Meg Maliga pitched a good game for Suffield. Alyssa Wagner and Kate Carson both scored runs.
Tolland 14, Vernon 4. (from 7/12) Alyssa Valenti pitched a complete game with four strikeouts, and went 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored and an RBI for Tolland in the 14-4 win over Vernon. Briana Penney went 3 for 3 with 2 RBI, 2 runs scored and Kim Tanguay was solid behind the plate and had two hits, an RBI and a run scored. Sarah Carpenter pitched a complete game for Vernon and had a hit and a run scored. Kassandra Wemmell had a good day at the plate with a triple and a run scored for Vernon.
- Sunday, July 16th
West Hartford2 13, Suffield 12. (from 6/26) In a close, very well-played game by both team, West Hartford Devils edged Suffield 13-12. The Devils' Valerie Hackett stole five bases and played great in the field, nailing a runner at home with a perfect throw from right field. Emily Ardel did a good job behind the plate and helped out offensively with 2 walks, 2 runs and 4 stolen bases. Emily Grace and Courtney Daley combined to pitch a very good game, striking out seven batters. Courtney saved the game by striking out the last two batters. Regan Considine got a nice hit, an RBI and stole a base. Hadley Stevens had a great game defensively for Suffield, making several nice plays in the field. She also had a hit and scored a run. Kayla Hale also played a stellar game defensively and had several quality at-bats. Angela Banning also contributed to Suffield's defensive effort in the field and by scoring a run.
- Monday, July 17th
Tolland 21, West Hartford2 9. Alex D'Aloisio picked up her second win of the season for Tolland with a 21-9 decision over West Hartford2. D'Aloisio had 13 strikeouts and picked up two hits at the plate and scored two runs. Kim Tanguay scored 4 runs and had 4 stolen bases. Alyssa Valenti had another good day at the plate with a base hit, 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Katie Akerley stayed hot in the batters box with two hits, an RBI and two runs scored. Jennifer Lohneiss and Amanda Place played awesome defense for West Hartford and Caroline Karanian picked up a hit, a run scored and two stolen bases.
Enfield 21, Suffield 3. The Enfield Fireballs defeated Suffield 21-3 with Cari Conley pitching a no-hitter, striking out six. Rebecca Scanlon tripled for the winners and Jenna Beverly went 2 for 2 with four runs scored. Cori DeLorge also reached base four times. It was a well-played defensive game for the Fireballs. Kacey Gifford, Alexa Pallotti and Meg Maliga played well for Suffield.
West Hartford1 11, Willington 10. On a hot night in Willington, the West Hartford Thunder fell behind 8-0 after the first inning and came all the way back to win 11-10 as Willington stranded the tieing run at third base in the last inning. Caroline Bye was the pitching star for the Thunder, going the last 4 1/3 innings behind solid defense which included two catches of screaming line drives in left field by Sydney Hamilton. Ali Stevens had two hits and a diving catch and Jackie Scalise chipped in with a double for the winners. The Willington team, which staged a valiant comeback of their own in the last inning were led at the plate by Erica Tremko, Alyssa Varrieur and Alexa Manaskie.
Vernon 15, Granby 5. Vernon defeated visiting Granby 15-5 as Brianna Levick was spectacular in the field and at the plate. Alyssa McDonald had a great offensive game and Danielle Wemmell played solid defense and was a sparkplug on offense. Granby's Erin Walsh had a fine game on the mound and at the plate. Bayley Bruner caught the entire game in oppressive heat and Sara Hammick crushed the ball for a grandslam homerun.
- Tuesday, July 18th
Enfield 19, Vernon 9. (from 6/28) The Enfield Fireballs continued their winning ways, defeating Vernon 19-9 with Cari Conley pitching the win and also making a double play. Rebecca Scanlon doubled and Katie Sirois scored two runs. Ashley Barseleau led Vernon with three hits. Sara Carpenter pitched well and Dylan Piacenta had a hit.
- Wednesday, July 19th
Vernon 15, West Hartford1 11. Vernon downed West Hartford1 15-11 as Sarah Carpenter pitched a very strong game. Elissa Graf made a number of outstanding defensive plays, including a spectacular game-ending catch. Alyssa McDonald played the hot corner like a pro and also had a very good game at the plate. West Hartford's standouts included Dani Stevens with a nice offensive outing, scoring twice and collecting a bunch of RBIs. Rebecca Olson scored twice and played a great game at second and Caroline Bye, who had a solid game both at the plate, with three runs scored, and at shortstop with no errors.
Willington 12, Tolland 11. Maggie Kryznel started for Willington and came back in relief to earn the win. She also had 2 singles and a game winning 2-run double. Erica Tremko, Emma Perugini and Katrina Mahoney scored two runs each. For Tolland, Katie Akerley and Alyssa Valenti (2 RBI) had two hits apiece. Kim Tanguay and Alyssa Yavis (2 runs) both reached base three times.
Enfield 11, Granby 4. The Enfield Fireballs defeated Granby 11-4 at Salmon Brook Park behind another good pitching performance from Cari Conley, who pitched a complete game, striking out 11 batters. Rebecca Scanlon made a great play in the infield for an out and added a double at the plate. Katie Krogmann had two doubles and combined with Danielle Lavender, who also had a double, on a double play. Erin Welsh pitched well for Granby and Kristen Endorf made several good plays at shortstop.
West Hartford2 12, Suffield 11. The West Hartford2 (Devils) completed a hard-fought comeback against a tough Suffield team by scoring 6 runs in the 5th inning and a run in their last atbat in the 6th inning. This was a very exciting, well-played game with both teams deserving of a win. For West Hartford, Regan Considine reached base 3 times with 2 hits and a walk, scored a run, stole two bases, and came through in the clutch with the game winning hit and RBI. Amy Silbo worked out two walks, stole three bases and led off the Devils' final atbat with a walk and scored the winning run. Cassidy Grinsell, Emily Grace and Courtney Daley all pitched well. Courtney came in the third inning, allowing only one run and striking out 5 batters. Cassidy had a hit, a walk, 2 stolen bases and an RBI. Emily had two hits and an RBI. Courtney stole 4 bases and scored two runs. Emily Ardel caught a good game and had two hits and an RBI, while swiping two bases. Amanda Place reached base twice (a walk and hit by a pitch), stealing 4 bases and scoring two runs.
Kacey Gifford started for Suffield and pitched very well, allowing only four hits and ringing up 4 strikeouts. At the plate she had a hit and scored two runs and had 4 stolen bases. Angelica Banning gunned down a runner attempting to stretch a hit into a double with a deadly accurate throw from right field. She also contributed at the plate with two walks, 4 stolen bases and two runs scored. Kim Willet helped out with two hits and two runs and played well defensively. Megan Maligan played a good all around game, got on base all three trips to the plate with a hit and two walks, coming around to score twice.
- Thursday, July 20th
Granby 15, West Hartford2 5. (from 6/28) Granby defeated West Hartford2 by a score of 15-5. Katie Jones pitched a great game with 10 strikeouts. She also scored 4 runs. Aubrey Koehler, Katie Mahoney, Kristen Endorf and Brittany Schultz all scored twice each. West Hartford was led with strong pitching by Courtney Daley with 8 strikeouts. Caroline Karanian and Gladys Torres both had solid base hits. Amanda Place had a hit and an RBI.
- Friday, July 21st
Enfield 15, Vernon 5. The Enfield Fireballs continued their winning ways, defeating Vernon 15-5. For the Fireballs, it was another good pitching performance by Cari "Bullwinkle" Conley, who earned the win. Nicole "Shorty" Meunier added two triples and 4 RBIs, Cori DeLorge added a triple and Katie Sirois had two singles. Katie Krogmann had a single, double, triple and 4 runs scored. For Vernon, Hilary Moody scored two runs and played a solid game at first base, Dylan Piacenta also played a good offensive game and Alyssa McDonald scored two runs and played solid defense at first base.
Willington 24, Suffield 9. Maggie Kryznel and Colleen Ecsedy combined for the win at Suffield. Morgan Stewart had a triple and a single with three runs scored. Megan Lord and Sarah Rup each had a single and a double and Lauren Dominique and Erica Tremko each scored three runs. Kate Carlson pitched very well in relief for Suffield. Aleesha Guzzi showed her baserunning skills and was a threat to steal at any time. Alyssa Wagner had three hits and scored three runs. The Suffield hitters showed a very impressive small-ball game with their bunting and base stealing ability.
West Hartford2 10, Granby 9. In a close well-played game by both teams with several lead changes, West Hartford took a one run lead into the bottom of the 7th inning and retired Granby in order to get the 10-9 win. For the West Hartford2 Devils, Carline Karanian had a perfect night at the plate, going 4-4 with 3 RBI, two runs scored and 3 stolen bases. Courtney Daley pitched a complete game, recording 11 strikeouts. Emily Ardel, batting leadoff, had two hits, scored 3 runs and stole 6 bases. Valerie Hackett had two hits, an RBI and two stolen bases. Brianne Callan knocked in the deciding run in the 7th inning. Katie Jones pitched a great game for Granby, ringing up 16 strikeouts. Kristen Endorf had two hits and scored a run. Michelle Raabe flashed some good leather in the field all night and helped out at the plate with a hit and a run scored. Bayley Bruner scored a run and played well defensively.
West Hartford 1 at Tolland - suspended by lightning; to be resumed Thursday, July 27th.
- Sunday, July 23rd
Granby 6, Suffield 5. (from 7/12) Granby narrowly defeated Suffield by a score of 6-5. Amy Bilodeau and Katie Jones combined their pitching efforts for 12 total strikeouts, 6 apiece. Katie Jones also had a single, triple and a walk. Taylor Rogers had two singles and Amy Bilodeau & Sam Gilbert both had singles. Suffield had quick and aggressive baserunning. Sam Guzzi pitched a great game with 8 strikeouts. She also had two base hits. Kayla Hale had an awesome base hit in the fifth inning. Lauren Gifford had a great game behind the plate, catching the whole game for Suffield.
Granby 7, Willington 3. (from 6/30) Granby won the second game of their doubleheader against a tough Willington team. Katie Jones pitched an amazing game with 13 strikeouts. Amy Bilodeau, Katie Jones, Katie Mahoney, Megan Nilson and Renee Lareau all had singles. Aubrey Koehler and Bayley Bruner both scored twice. Kristen Endorf was tough behind the plate, catching the whole game for Katie Jones. Alyssa Varrieur led the Willington offense with a triple in the second inning. She got a hold of the ball and sent it to the fence in left field. Morgan Stewart scored twice in the game. Colleen Ecsedy made a great double play in the fifth inning.
- Monday, July 24th
Enfield 23, West Hartford1 6. The Enfield Fireballs defeated West Hartford1 23-6 on the pitching of Cari Conley, who helped herself at the plate with a double and a triple. Samantha Wilder single and scored a run for Enfield. Elizabeth Rogers added two singles and made a nice play in the outfield. Dani Stevens led West Hartford with a double. Caroline Bye played well in the field and Julia Levere pitched well.
Willington 16, Granby 4. Maggie Kryznel went the distance for a 2-hit complete game victory. Alyssa Varrieur went 3-3 with two doubles and three runs scored. Morgan Stewart went 2-3 with a double and also scored three runs. Amy Bilodeau pitched 5 strong innings for Granby. Taylor Rogers had a single and scored a run. Renee Lareau also had a single and Aubrey Koehler reached on a fielder's choice and scored a run.
Suffield 10, Tolland 6. Pitching well for Suffield was Meghan Maliga, with relief oitching coming from Samantha Guzzi, who also had a good game offensively. Kayla Hale led the Suffield defense at first base. Jessica Olson was the starting pitcher for Tolland, relieved by Alex D'Aloisio. Katie Akerley had a good game defensively at first base for Tolland.
West Hartford2 12, Vernon 8. The West Hartford2 Devils won their second in a row against a tough, determined and undermanned Vernon team. The game was close and hard fought with both teams playing well and deserving to win. Regan Considine had a great game at the plate for the Devils, with a homerun, 3 RBIs, 2 runs scored and two stolen bases. She also caught a good game. Emily Grace played well defensively and had a stolen base and an RBI. Amanda Place contributed to the attack with a hit, an RBI and two stolen bases while also playing very well in the outfield. Tori Graumann went 2-3 with an RBI and 2 stolen bases and played well in the field as well. For Vernon, Elissa Graf was a big part of the offense with four runs scored, while doing a great job behind the plate. Sarah Carpenter pitched an outstanding game and was a driving force for the Vernon team. Danielle Wemmell played a good defensive game in the outfield, making a number of good plays and throws.

West Hartford1 19, Vernon 17. (from 6/26) West Hartford1 prevailed over Vernon in a back and forth game in Vernon. Rosie Gluck reached base four times and scored two runs for West Hartford, while Tina Galindez had a double and a triple in the same inning. Alyssa Mantello reached base three times, stole two bases and scored a run. Dylan Piacenta, Hilary Moody and Sarah Carpenter played well for Vernon.
- Wednesday, July 26th
Enfield 13, West Hartford2 12. In an exciting game that came down to the last inning between the Enfield Fireballs and West Hartford2, the Fireballs ended their season with a 13-12 victory. Samantha Wilder scored the winning run. Cari Conley had a double and a triple and Danielle Lavender and Katie Krogmann both hit doubles. Emily Grace had a pair of hits for West Hartford2. Gladys Torres had a single, 3 runs scored and two stolen bases. Courtney Daley had a single and scored 3 times as well as doing a great job pitching.
Tolland 9, Granby 7. Tolland squeaked by Granby 9-7 in a well played game by both teams. Jessica Olson (9Ks) went the distance for Tolland to earn the win. Briana Penney had a double and an RBI and Kim Tanguay was a menace on the bases with three steals and three runs scored. Erin Walsh (2 runs scored) and Katie Jones (double and RBI) pitched a solid game for Granby and combined for 13 strikeouts. Kristen Endorf played great defense behind the plate for Granby.
West Hartford1 23, Suffield 12. Ali and Dani Stevens scored five runs each and Caroline Bye contributed four runs for the West Hartford Thunder as they rallied to defeat Suffield in West Hartford. Meg Maliga, Lauren Gifford and Katie Carson all played well for Suffield.
Vernon 20, Willington 10.

West Hartford1 12, Tolland 6. (completion of game suspended 7/21) West Hartford1 beat Tolland in the completion of a suspended game. Julie Levere went the distance to earn the 12-6 decision. Tina Galindez reached base all four times that she came to the plate, scoring three times, and Ali Stevens had 4 hits for the winners. Tolland stars included Alyssa Valenti, who struck out six batters; Alex D'Aloisio, with a hit and a run scored; and Brittany DeCarli, with a hit, an RBI and a run.
Tolland 19, West Hartford1 5. (from 6/28) Alyssa Valenti and Alyssa Yavis pitched Tolland to a 19-5 win over Weat Hartford1 in the regular season finale. Alyssa Valenti went 2-2 with 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Emily Kopsick and Julia Powers each had three runs scored and an RBI for Tolland. Lauren Booth made a great defensive play at third base when she bare-handed a slow ground ball and threw the runner out at first base. Ali Stevens pitched strong for West Hartford1 and helped herself out with a hit and a run scored. Rosie Gluck and Sydney Hamilton each had a good day at the plate combining for two runs, a hit and a walk.
