- Monday, June 18th
Tolland 12, Enfield 0. Tolland defeated Enfield in the season opener 12-0 behind a strong pitching performance by Jessica Olson, who struck out 13, walked two and allowed just one hit. The offense was led by Alyssa Valenti (3 runs, 2 walks) and Kelsey Kaplan (1 run, 1 RBI), who each had a double. Enfield's Sam Wilder and Iris Rushford played solid defense and Wilder had the only hit for Enfield.
Granby 12, Canton 3. Granby defeated Canton with the help of Brittany Schultz's pitching. Brittany pitched 4 strong innings with a total of 7 strikeouts. Bayley Bruner and Michaela Gothers came in to pitch the final two innings, each recording two strikeouts. Granby's offense was led by Bayley Bruner and Courtney Ahrens, each with two singles. Canton's defense was led by pitcher Brittany King and Sarah Allen, who made a couple of nice plays at second base.
Suffield 13, West Hartford 8. Suffield opened their season with a 13-8 win against visiting West Hartford. Kacey Gifford recorded 14 strikeouts before exiting in the 5th inning. Kate Carson and Anna Boucher had good games offensively for Suffield. Tina Galindez had the big hit for West Hartford - a long 3-run homer in the 5th inning. Sarah Allen had a hit, scored a run and stole three bases. Defensively, second baseman Amy Silbo made a nice play when she backed up first base and gunned a runner down by throwing to the pitcher covering. Catcher Jenn Lohneiss threw out two runners attempting to steal third.
Glastonbury at Willington - rescheduled to Thursday, July 26th.
Windsor at Simsbury (SHS) - cancelled.
- Wednesday, June 20th
Canton 10, West Hartford 9. Canton beat West Hartford at Dyer Field in Canton. Brittany King pitched a strong game and earned the win. Amber Batan knocked in Kim Bastan for the go-ahead and eventual winning run in the bottom of the 5th inning. Amanda Place drove in two runs for West Hartford in the first inning. She also scored two runs and stole 4 bases. Julie Levere contributed a single, walk, run and stole 3 bases. Amanda Augustinson had a good game behind the plate, keeping baserunners at bay, and Caroline Karanian continued her flawless play in the field, making several nice plays at third base and shortstop.
Ellington 10, Willington 9. Brittany Millane single and stole 2nd, 3rd and home in the bottom of the 6th inning to push Ellington past Willington 10-9. Maggie Kryznel pitched four very strong innings and had two hits and scored two runs for Willington.
Simsbury 16, Suffield 2. (later disallowed by Simsbury withdrawing from U-12) Simsbury opened with a 16-2 win over Suffield. Jessie Rocha, Annie Graikoski and Carly Williams combined for 13 strikeouts in the 5-inning game. Williams also provided the power with a bases loaded triple that was just feet from clearing the 220' right field fence. Suffield's Kacey Gifford came on in relief in the 3rd inning and recorded six strikeouts in three innings. Aleesha Guzzi (single) and Sabrina Guzzi (run scored) provided the offense.
Granby 9, Windsor 1. Granby came up with their second win, defeating Windsor 9-1. Erin Walsh was the winning pitcher, recording eight strikeouts. The offense was led by Audrey Turcotte, Erin Walsh, Aubrey Koehler, Amy Bilodeau and Sam Gilbert, all with singles. Windsor pitcher Charlotte Moller recorded five strikeouts. Their defense was led by Mary Dineen.
Glastonbury 9, Enfield 6.

Suffield 6, Enfield 4.
Glastonbury 17, West Hartford 7. For West Hartford, Brie Reynolds knocked in a run with a nice single and also stole a base. Regan Considine contributed a single and a stolen base and also played well on defense. Amy Silbo helped out on offense with a hit, an RBI, a run scored and a stolen base.
Granby 17, Canton 4. Granby defeated Canton 17-4. Michaela Gothers pitched three strong innings, recording 3 strikeouts. Brittany Schultz pitched the last two innings and struck out two. Granby's offense was led by Courtney Ahrens with two singles. Audrey Turcotte, Emily Ohannessian, Brittany Schultz, Erin Walsh, Anna Glassman and Michaela Gothers all had hits. Canton's defense was led by pitcher Brittany King, who recorded four strikeouts.
Willington 14, Enfield 5.
West Hartford 10, Suffield 9. In an exciting and well-played game by both teams, West Hartford edged Suffield 10-9. Caroline Bye pitched three good innings for West Hartford, and also went 3-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. Julia Levere had the game-winning RBI in the 6th inning and also pitched two solid innings. Molly Swanson contributed a single and an RBI. Sarah Rose Slate pitched well in the 6th inning and had and RBI and scored a run. Suffield's Alli Carson stroked a clutch two-run single in the 5th inning that put Suffield temporarily ahead. Alexa Pallotti pitched a very good game and helped her cause with a single and a run scored. Nicole Wagner led the defensive effort, making several good plays.
Willington 10, Granby 3.
Glastonbury 9, Canton 6.
- Monday, June 25th
Granby 14, West Hartford 2. Granby combined for 14 hits and defeated West Hartford by a score of 14-2. The offense was led by Bayley Bruner with a double, Michaela Gothers with a single and a double and Michelle Raabe, Amy Bilodeau and Erin Walsh with two hits apiece. Bruner also pitched the first 4 innings, striking out three. Brittany Schultz had a great defensive game at shortstop. For West Hartford, Caroline Karanian doubled, stole third base and then scored on a passed ball. Tina Galindez singled and scored the other WH run. Cassidy Grinsell made two nice catches in left field and Maggie Rose also had a good game defensively.
Suffield 5, Windsor 3. Suffield's Kacey Gifford pitched another great game as Suffield edged Windsor 5-3. Alexa Pallotti played well on defense for Suffield, snaring two line drives at first base, and Lauren Gifford was strong behind the plate. Angelica Banning singled to right and then stretched it into a double with aggressive baserunning.
Willington 11, Enfield 2. Willington was led by the combined pitching effort of Josie Borysevicz, Samantha Ridzon and Sara Brunette to hold Enfield to two runs on two hits. Tracy Aforismo had a great game behind the plate, throwing out two baserunners trying to steal second and tagging out another attempting to steal home. She also had two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored. Joanna Mikel also had two solid hits and scored a run. Katie Sirois pitched four innings for Enfield and notched three strikeouts.
Ellington 7, Tolland 0 (forfeit).

- Wednesday, June 27th
Canton 4, Windsor 3. Brittany King pitched Canton past Windsor 4-3. Emily Neddermann made a nice play at first base for the winners.
Tolland 11, Glastonbury 4. Tolland picked up its second straight win by beating Glastonbury by a score of 11-4. Sam Olson pitched four solid innings to earn the win and also helped herself with a double and run scored in the second inning. Tolland's Katie Akerley (hit, RBI, 2 runs) was solid behind the plate and Ashley Clawson (hit, run, stolen base) contributed to the offense. Glastonbury's Mary Patenaude (RBI) and Katie Marchetti (run) led their offense. Dana Meixell pitched very well, but took the loss.
Suffield at Granby (SBP) - cancelled.
Ellington at Enfield (EWS) - postponed to a later date.
Simsbury at West Hartford - cancelled.
- Friday, June 29th
West Hartford 19, Windsor 8. The West Hartford Dynamite defeated Windsor 19-8. Molly Swanson had her best game, going 1 for 2 with an RBI. Sarah Allen was perfect at the plate, going 3 for 3 with 2 RBI, scoring 3 runs and playing flawlessly at shortstop. Sarah Rose Slate was also perfect, with two hits, a walk and 3 RBIs. Amy Silbo reached base in all three of her plate appearances, with a hit and two walks, and drove in two runs. Brie Reynolds had a hit and two runs scored. For Windsor, Karleen Crespo had a single, a walk and scored two runs. Cathy Dunlavey reached base three times with two hits and a walk and scored two runs. Laressa Tessier contributed to the Windsor offensive effort with a triple in the first inning, as well as a single, a walk and a run scored.
Canton at Enfield - cancelled.

- Monday, July 9th
Willington 12, Glastonbury 0. The Willington Thunder was led by Maggie Kryznel, whose no-hit bid was broken up in the 5th inning with a solid single up the middle by Glastonbury's Katie Connolly. She ended up with a one-hitter, striking out fifteen, and also contibuted to the 10-hit attack with two hits, including an RBI double. Samantha Ridzon had two hits and two RBIs and Lauren Dominique had a hit and two runs scored. Glastonbury had a solid defensive effort, with several nice fielding plays in both the infield and outfield.
Suffield at Ellington - rescheduled to Tuesday, July 24 (at Suffield).
Enfield at Tolland rescheduled to Saturday, July 21st (at Enfield).
Canton at Granby - postponed to a later date.

- Wednesday, July 11th
West Hartford 4, Canton 3. Both teams played well defensively, with West Hartford holding off Canton comebacks in the final two innings. Caroline Bye and Sarah Rose Slate combined to pitch a very good game, with Caroline striking out the final batter with the tieing run at third base. Julia Levere went 2-2 at the plate, with a walk, an RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases. Jessilyn Hartman had an RBI-single and made a great catch in centerfield. Maggie Rose and Jamie Lohneiss played well defensively, each making several good plays. Christina Cardwell pitched an outstanding complete game for Canton, recording 10 strikeouts. She also made a nice catch on a line drive and completed a double play by throwing out the runner on third base.
Granby 8, Windsor 5. Granby downed Windsor 8-5. Erin Walsh earned the win, recording 10 strikeouts. Granby's offense was led by Brittany Schultz with a double and a single. Amy Bilodeau and Audrey Turcotte each had a single. Windsor's offense was led by Charlotte Moller and Miranda Morris. Each had a beautiful bunt.
Willington 6, Ellington 4. Wilington came from behind to defeat Ellington in a tightly played game. Ellington scored 3 runs early on hits by Kirsten Clemens and Danielle Pare. Willington's Josie Borysevicz settled down in the second and allowed just one other run through five innings and notched five strikeouts. Willington scored five times in the 3rd to go ahead 6-4. Morgan Stewart, who had three hits in the game, and Megan Lord both had hits in the inning, but it was Sarah Rup's homerun that put the winners ahead to stay. Rachel Tshonas pitched very well for Ellington, recording nine strikeouts. Maggie Kryznel came on in relief for Willington in the 6th and recorded a pair of strikeouts to close out the game.
Glastonbury 13, Enfield 8.

- Friday, July 13th
Windsor 6, Suffield 5. Windsor took home their first U-12 win with a 6-5 decision against Suffield. Charlotte Moller and Molly Parker combined for the win, striking out nine. LaRessa Tessier and Alisha Collazo each had RBIs. Courtney Samuda's double was the hit of the game. Suffield's Anna Boucher had a great hit and Erin Reynolds and Christa Mangiarelli kept the Windor catcher alert with their aggressive baserunning.
Willington 13, Enfield 1. The Willington offense was rolling as eight players scored runs in the 13-1 win over Enfield. Alexa Manaskie got things going with a triple to lead off the second inning. Erica Tremko followed with a 2-RBI double later in the inning. Morgan Stewart got into the action with a single to score Tremko, then scored on a passed ball to record the fifth run of the inning. Tremko later tripled to lead off the 4th inning for her second extra base hit of the game. Willington scored five more runs in the top of the 4th inning to secure the win. Maggie Kryznel had a double among three hits and drove in two runs. Sami Ridzon earned the win, striking out eight and allowing no hits. Liz Rogers played well and Iris Rushford scored Enfield's lone run for the game in the second inning.
Granby 6, West Hartford 4.

- Monday, July 16th
Windsor 13, Canton 0. Molly Parker struck out 12 to earn the win as Windsor shutout Canton 13-0. LaRessa Tessier led the hitters, going 3 for 3 with 4 RBIs. Miranda Marris had a double and 2 RBIs and Grace Deneen reached base three times. Canton's second baseman Morgan Scafuri had four assists and a putout. Sarah Allen and Kim Bastan played very well defensively for Canton.
Granby 3, Suffield 2. In a well-played game by both teams, Granby edged Suffield 3-2 as Erin Walsh struck out 12 to get the win. Brittany Schultz made a great play at shortstop. The Granby offense was led by Amy Bilodeau, with a single and a double, and Erin Walsh, with two beautiful bunts. The Suffield offense was led by Alex Williams (double), Angelica Banning (single) and Laura Somerville, who reached base.
Enfield 8, Ellington 7.

West Hartford at Simsbury - cancelled.
- Wednesday, July 18th
Tolland 7, Willington 4. Tolland downed Willington 7-4 in a hard fought game that went back and forth. Jessica Olson pitched the complete game win, striking out ten. Tollan's offense was led by Sammie Olson (hit, BB, 2 runs), Alyssa Valenti (hit, BB, RBI, run) and Ashley Clawson (hit, run). Willington's Maggie Kryznel had a strong outing, recording seven strikeouts, and Erica Tremko had two hits and two RBI.
Ellington 8, Glastonbury 6. Ellington topped visiting Glastonbury by a score of 8-6. Kirsten Clemens pitched a complete game, striking out nine, and had a single and an RBI on offense. Kelly Conley played well defensively, doubled and scored a run. Shannon Millane had the key hit, a bases-loaded triple that led to a 5-run third inning. Dana Meixell pitched well for Glastonbury, striking out six, and scored a run. Jackie Phillips was solid defensively behind the plate with several great throws. Offensively, Elizabeth Corporale had two hits and scored a run.
Suffield 13, Canton 11 (7 innings). Canton rallied in the 6th to tie the contest 11-11, sending the game into extra innings. In the 7th inning, Suffield scored two runs and held Canton from scoring, with Alexa Pallotti making a great catch at first base and then tagging the runner for a game-ending double play. Anna Boucher pitched and hit well for Suffield. Angelica Banning showed her strengths at the plate as well. Gina Cardwell (3-4) led the Canton hitters and Sarah Allen had a good game in the field. Brittany King piched well and also did well offensively.
Windsor at West Hartford - rescheduled to Tuesday, July 24th.

Ellington 18, West Hartford 9. Ellington went on the road and defeated West Hartford 18-9. Brittney Millane pitched three solid innings in relief of Kirsten Clemens, who allowed just two runs and struck out six. Clemens provided the early offense, including an RBI-double, a single and two runs scored before leaving the game. Jessica Malone had two hits and three runs scored. Danielle Pare also added a hit for Ellington. Caroline Bye paced the West Hartford offense, reaching base three times with a hit and two walks.
She also stole 4 bases and scored three runs. Shortstop Caroline Karanian went 2 for 3, with 2 RBIs and a run scored. Brie Reynolds also went 2-3, knocking in three runs and had a good game defensively. Jessilyn Hartman stroked an RBI-double and continued her solid play in the outfield.
Tolland 13, Suffield 1. Tolland won its fourth straight game with a 13-1 victory of Suffield. Sam Olson and Katie Akerley combined on a no-hitter, walking just three batters. Tolland's Alyssa Valenti went 2-2 with a triple, a walk, three runs scored and an RBI and played strong defense behind the plate, throwing out a runner attempting to steal second base. Ashley Clawson continued with her hot bat, picking up three hits and scoring a run. Suffield's Sabrina Guzzi played good defense in centerfield, running down a long fly ball, and Anna Boucher pitched three solid innings, striking out three. Alexia Williams stole two bases and scored a run.

- Monday, July 23rd
Ellington 8, Tolland 8 (tie). Ellington and Tolland tied 8-8 in another hard fought well played game on both sides. The game was 3-3 going into the top of the 6th inning, where Ellington scored five runs, with the offense being led by Rachel Tshonas, who had a base hit and stole home. Ellington's defense was led by their catcher, Jessica Malone, who threw out two baserunners, and Brittany Millane, who played solidly in centerfield. Down by five going into the final half inning, Tolland ripped four straight hits, with back to back doubles by Ashley Clawson and Alyssa Valenti. Katie Akerley and Allison Whitlock followed with singles. Whitlock scored the tieing run for Tolland when she beat the throw to home on a fielder's choice off the bat of Kaitlyn Thibodeau. Alyssa Valenti pitched 5 1/3 innings for Tolland, striking out five.
Willington 15, Glastonbury 3. Josie Borysevicz recorded ten strikeouts and gave up one hit while pitching Willington to a 15-3 win over Glastonbury. Willington had seven hits for the game, including three triples, one each by Erica Tremko, Maggie Kryznel and Tracy Aforismo. Ten players scored runs for Willington, including Joanna Mikel and Morgan Stewart, who each scored twice along with a hit each. Katie Connolly recorded the only hit for Glastonbury and scored a run.
Canton at Windsor - cancelled due to rain.
- Tuesday, July 24th
Tolland 10, Granby 8. Tolland edged Granby 10-8 after picking up three runs in the top of the 6th to take the lead. Alyssa Valenti (hit, 2 runs, 4 stolen bases) picked up the win after relieving Katie Akerley (2 hits, 2 runs), who threw 4 1/3 innings and left the game in a 7-7 tie. Alyssa closed out the game, striking out two of the final three batters. Kaitlin Thibodeau had 3 hits, and RBI and 3 runs scored to lead Tolland's offense. Granby's Brittany Schultz had a hit, an RBI and a run scored, Renee Lareau had a hit and an RBI and Bayley Bruner pitched three innings, keeping it a close game all the way to the end.
Windsor 15, West Hartford 6. (from 7/18) Molly Parker hit a triple and earned the win for Windsor, striking out seven. LaRessa Tessier went 3 for 3 with a double and 2 RBIs and Miranda Marris had a double. West Hartford's Brie Reynolds had two doubles, an RBI and a run scored and pitcher Caroline Bye made a great catch of a low line drive and turned a double play. Amanda Place and Caroline Karanian both went 2 for 4 at the plate. Regan Considine and Jaimie Lohneiss each executed nice sacrifice bunts, drove in a run and played well defensively.
Suffield 7, Ellington 0 (forfeit). (from 7/9)
- Wednesday, July 25th
Tolland 4, Ellington 3. Tolland edged Ellington 4-3 as Alyssa Valenti pitched the complete game win and also had two bunt base hits. Shaina Carter had a triple, single and scored the deciding run. Kelsey Lewis played great defense at shortstop for Tolland, making a great grab of a hard hit line drive to end the game. Ellington's Danielle Pare had two hits and Kelly Conley had a 2-run triple in the bottom of the 6th to make it a 4-3 game. Brittany Lemire played solid defense at second base for Ellington.
Windsor 9, Suffield 3. Mary Deneen pitched the win for Windsor, with relief help from Molly Parker and Emily Parker. Ashley Walsh and Alisha Collazo made great catches in the outfield for the winners. Courtney Samuda went 3 for 3 at the plate to lead Windsor's offense. Anna Boucher, Aleesha Guzzi and Alexis Williams each had hits for Suffield.
Enfield 5, Glastonbury 2.
- Thursday, July 26th
Suffield 9, Canton 8. Angelica Banning singled home the winning run in the 6th inning and Suffield edged Canton 9-8. Aleesha Guzzi had a good game at the plate for Suffield and Alexis Williams' and Alexis Pallotti's aggressive baserunning highlighted the offense. Kim Bastan pitched well for Canton but took the loss. Samantha Bosse's hitting and Jessica Falzone's defensive play kept Canton in the game.
Willington 10, Glastonbury 4. (from 6/18) Sara Brunette pitched a complete game to get the win for Willington, also fielding her postion very well with seven assists. Standouts for Willington include Megan Lord, with two hits and a run scored, and Maggie Kryznel (HR, 3 RBIs, 2 runs). Glastonbury was led by Ashley Maher, who had two doubles and a run scored, and Delaney Kehoe, who made some big catches in centerfield. Britney Clark came in and pitched well in relief.
Granby 9, Enfield 6.
