Northern Connecticut Girls' Softball League
** 2006 U-12 League Tournament **
The 2006 NCGSL U-12 league tournament was held Saturday and Sunday, July 29-30th at Sterling Field in West Hartford. Pool play on Saturday with two groups of four teams each determined seeding for Sunday's single-elimination bracket. Teams played each other team in their group for a total of three Saturday games each. The team groups, designated as Group '1-3-5-7' (Enfield, West Hartford1, Bye, West Hartford2) and Group '2-4-6-8' (Willington, Tolland, Granby, Suffield) were determined by the final league standings. For Saturday pool play, games were 90 minutes with home team determined by coin toss. A mercy rule of 10 runs after 4 innings was in effect. Tie games would have counted as ties.
